OUR FIRST KISS AS A MARRIED COUPLE
Yesterday was our 35th anniversary, it started out with a great church service & a wonderful sermon from Pastor Richard. After church we were supposed to go over to Ida’s & Robbie’s place for a barbecue. We do that a lot anyway. Ida & Robbie had somehow managed to get our son Michael & his fiancé Penny, along with our very dear friends Evie & Bill from over in Nova Scotia. Now Evie is 75 years old & Bill is 87, they jumped into their car & headed over.

Sharon & I were completely surprised, especially when Evie came around the corner. I’ve known Evie forever, her son was my best friend during our teenage years & I used to go out with her daughter, Donna. Then when Sharon & I got married, Evie & Sharon’s brother Robbie, stood for us. Four of our family were missing, but they were missed, a lot. We all thought of them all day, we talked about them a lot, Sharon asked the Lord to bless them during her thanks.

We had an awfully great time, as we always do when we all get together, lots of reminiscing & laughter. We are so blessed to have such a family that we love very dearly. Special Love goes out to the four who could not be there. We miss them so much, but we must be thankful in the knowledge that they are healthy & doing fine. We were most thankful for the day we did have.
WE’VE ALL CHANGED A BIT OVER THE YEARS
Live well, Laugh well, Love well,
Jesus Saves.
