SHE'S HOME

I have been very tardy in posting. My sister arrived home from Afghanistan, Saturday at midnight. It was quite the homecoming. My wife, R, Char, & a couple of colleagues from Toni's unit were there. Tons of hugs & kisses, & pictures. I shot the video of the celebration.

Thank you Lord for bringing her back to us safe & sound. Now we pray for all the other troops to come home safe. We must continue to support all our troops.

ANOTHER SOLDIER LOST

We have lost another soldier in Afghanistan. Sgt.Prescott Shipway was killed when his armoured vehicle was hit by an IDE, 7 others were wounded. Sgt. Shipway was the 97th Canadian soldier to be killed in Afghanistan.

We have to continue to pray for & support our troops deployed overseas. Please pray for Sgt. Shipway & his family. His family will need lots of support at this terrible time.

THREE MORE MAKE THE ULTIMATE SCARIFICE

On Wednesday, September, 03, 2008 we lost three more brave soldiers in Afghanistan. They were killed during a firefight with insurgents. Five other soldiers were wounded, one critically. Pte. Chad Horn, Cpl. Andrew Grenon, and Cpl. Mike Seggie, were killed when their armoured vehicle came under direct fire. We have 3 more soldiers & 3 more sets of families to pray for.

We have to keep supporting & praying for all our soldiers who are in harm's way. These special & brave people keep going out on patrols & missions despite the danger, despite the fact that three of their own had just paid the ultimate sacrifice. Please remember them in your prayers, I do.
