I MISS HER.

I know I haven’t mentioned it on this blog, but my wife,of 35years, has been sick for the last four years. There is something wrong with her entire digestive system. After all this time the Dr.’s just can’t seem to figure it out. I don’t know how many Dr.s & specialist she has seen, but none of them can figure it out.

It started all of a sudden in 2007, Sharon figured it out once, of all 2007 she spent 36 days at home. The rest of the time she was in hospital. After her release & she stayed out for awhile, she has been back & forth, in & out of hospital. She is there right now. This time, for some reason, I really miss her.

STILL TIRED

When she is home, she is almost a prisoner in our apartment, she can’t be too far away from a bathroom. Whenever we do go out we have our routes planned out so we know where all the spots with bathrooms are.

Sharon will start feeling better, she will be released from hospital. Then she’ll be home for a few months, maybe more, then she will start going downhill again. She has to go back to hospital to rest up, get her body back to a degree of being healthy, then she comes home again, & the cycle starts all over again.

We used to do everything together, biking, skiing, everything. Now she can’t do any of those things because of her health. Sometimes when we can afford to, we would really like to go up to Ontario to visit our daughter & our grandkids. Even if we had the money to do it, Sharon could never make the drive, it would take us 3 or 4 days just to get there. There is no way we could afford to fly up, so we are stuck here.

Like I said, Sharon is in hospital now, it’s been a week so far, & I miss her. This bachelor stuff is just not for me.

Live well, laugh well, love well,

Jesus Saves.
